No, dig bypasses the local DNS-cache and sends a fresh request
each time. Besides I don't think a local DNS-client will cache the
result longer than the TTL in the response would say. Would be a
bug if it did?
But in my case it seemed dig and adig used different nameservers.
Even with the same resolv.conf. Bummer!
