Hi, there. I'm just about to start a project that will use curl for HTTPs communication and I read the part that talked about multi-threading issues. I searched the mailing list archives and it seems that setting CURLOPT_NOSIGNAL will fix it except for name resolves, for which, I would need Ares. Did I get that right? If not, please do correct me.

Also, are these issues specific to Linux/Unix and not present on Windows?
