Hallo Daniel

Since shortly HTTP state coming from a proxy are also stored for
CURLINFO_HTTP_CODE.
Previously 407 resulted in a CURLE_RECV_ERROR.
Now curl_easy_perform() returns CURL_OK on 407.
What do you think of returning anything !=0 like CURLE_AUTH_FAILED.
This could also help in NTLM when no username is given.
