For those who don't remember me, I am running libcurl through the perl
module Curl::easy on a Win32 platform. I have my FTP replication tool
running very smoothly.

Except, there is a problem that transfers are sometimes frozen and don't
timeout. I notice the same behavior with the curl.exe program sometimes,
but I cannot always duplicate the problem.

Any ideas what causes this? It'll do it across a LAN or a WAN so I can't
attribute it to the router or some other network glitch.
