I remember looking for a StringIO workaround, but I think that there
were some file handle assumptions with libcurl. It was awhile back,
so I'd be happy to learn of alternatives. Anyway, I know where the
diff is in my repository, so it shouldn't take long for me to review
it. I'll try to get to it tonight.
