  I've done a first release of urlgrabber using pycurl as a backend. The
urlgrabber api is unchanged but what happens in the back has changed a
bit. I was posting it here since I thought it might be handy for some
folks.

Most everything is working - but not all the unittests check out and I'm
sure I've messed up something somewhere along the way. :) However, it is
functional for yum and koji and anaconda so far and I've tested A LOT of
the basic items. If you have any use for this and you find bugs please
file them (for now) in red hat's bugzilla(http://bugzilla.redhat.com)
under python-urlgrabber.
