But sadly, CURLOPT_FTP_FILEMETHOD was only added into PHP's curl_setopt()
last month, and into PHP 5.3 which is currently not a stable release.

CURLOPT_FTP_FILEMETHOD was introduced in 7.15.2, 27 February 2006.
