Just by way of clarification - the command line tool returns (after
quite some time) with:

curl: (7) socket error: 110

"curl -V" displays the full version info.

Can you show us a full command line you use with the command line
version that fails? My simple tests from my end worked just fine.

So it works if you try it with Firefox, but not if you send the exact
same headers as Firefox does with curl?
