I'm installing curl 7.13.2...
For some reason my libcurl seems to be 7.10.4 (from the phpinfo()), I
will find out why it's not showing the right library version and let you
know.

So you're using both curl and libcurl of the same version?

Then I have no explanation. Have you tried with 7.13.2?

If you can repeat the problem with a plain C program using libcurl, I'd

very interested!
