Daniel -- Embarrassing, but true! :-(

I have done some more tests, and it seems that a small
(7 kb) PDF file uploads OK, but that a 4+ Mb one does
not (in trace-ascii output "Info : Failed writing body")
-- just writes a broken 7803 byte file (header of the PDF
file)

I will look carefully at the trace-ascii output to see if
I can spot why.
... not obvious why it works from command line, but not when
the identical command line is executed via the PHP script.
