Hi iam using :

Apache/1.3.20 Sun Cobalt (Unix) Chili!Soft-ASP/3.6.2 mod_ssl/2.8.4 OpenSSL/0.9.6b PHP/4.1.2 mod_auth_pam_external/0.1 FrontPage/4.0.4.3 mod_perl/1.25

php 4.1.2

and curl libcurl 7.9.4 (OpenSSL 0.9.6g)

Iam having problems posting data to a .dll , it timesout when it should close the connection.

I thought it could be my version of curl so I installed libcurl 7.10.6 on my server and tried using passtru() to run it as a system cmd (as I dont really want to have to recompile php) and still it times out when used through a browser, it does work when I run it through telnet???

Another strange thing is that when I post data to a .asp page it works fine?????

any ideas ??
