I really am not trying to find 'where' there is an issue. But rather 'how'
to solve the particular problem I'm having and how CURL (standalone or as
PHP plugin) might be able to assist?

1. Does CURL handle the Content-Type: multipart/x-mixed-replace; how? And if
yes in general, what switch do I need to flip in order to instruct it to do
so. It would be perfectly ok with me to run CURL in a command shell and have
it download the entire stream to a file which I would then parse in return.

2. Alternatively - How do I make libcurl (using the PHP implementation)
stream it's input directly out to the browser - including headers - rather
than retrieving results into a variable and then return IT after the
retrieval is complete.

Wow! There should be some experience hiding out in here I'd say. Here's
hoping...

Thanks,
