I am sure this has been addressed many times, but I can't seem to find my answer on Curl's website, or PHP's website.

I have installed curl with SSL support, and it works just fine on the command line.

Yet, in PHP using the curl library, I only have http support, not https support. It just returns with no data when I try https, yet the same command works on the shell prompt.

Did I miss a compile option (that I havent seen) to enable https? I followed all the php/curl install docs, and I think I've done everything right (obviously not though, right?)

Can someone help? Basically my cc signups are dead until I get this fixed..
