Correct! That's a regression first reported here:
https://github.com/curl/curl/issues/4588

As you can see there, this is already fixed in git since commit:
https://github.com/curl/curl/commit/7a46aeb0be3fa00826b0c47a8bc06eddff448659

Expected to ship in the next release.
