What is ENG certificate format?

Hi,

When reading curl man page, I noticed the following line:

--cert-type <type>
              (TLS) Tells curl what certificate type the provided
certificate is in. PEM, DER and ENG are
              recognized types.
=========

I know about PEM, DER formats. But I never heard of ENG format
before. What is ENG format?
