patch attached for MANUAL, but I had a few questions:

   Curl also supports user and password in HTTP URLs, thus you can pick a file
   like:

...

   NOTE! Since HTTP URLs don't support user and password, you can't use that
   style when using Curl via a proxy. You _must_ use the -u style fetch
   during such circumstances.

2nd HTTP should be HTTPS?
