We have an application that uses libcurl for FTP. By default it use the services ftp as the default port. However every time we do the FTP we get the message "cannot find service 'ftp'". Then it goes ahead and does the FTP falling back to port 21. If when doing the FTP we set the default port to 21 instead of 'ftp' no errors are seen. This is a real hindrance.

Anyone know what is different about the services file on Windows 2003?
