How you set dns name? /etc/hosts? Did you try fqdn?

Subject: curl tftp connection fail


Dear All,

I am using curl tftp to get from tftp server.
I have compile curl for mips platfrom.
I have setup tftp server at one pc.
Now i am using command curl tftp://192.168.1.50/autotext.xml
above command works fine and get file autotext.xml.

but i have setup DNS name "tftpserver" of pc ip 192.168.1.50.
Then it not able to bin tftp request and gives error (7).

like if i am giving command tftp://tftpserver/autotext.xml.
then it gives error (7).

but i am able to ping tftpserver address.
