Using CURL with HTTPS and FTP
Date: Fri, 28 May 2010 12:50:32 +0530
Hello Friends,
I am a new user to CURL and read some docs and went through the website to
understand. Now, i have following requirements,
1) Download files from a HTTPS site on regular basis . Here the filename
is not a constant one. eg: File_name_1234.txt. Here 1234 is a timestamp
which is prone to change on a daily basis. I would like to know if i can
use a wild card character as File_name_*.txt. Please advise..
2) Another is to download(in a secured mode) files from a ftp server using
FTPS protocol. Here the filename format is constant. So, Please advise the
syntax and anything else which is useful.
Also, is it possible to check the timestamp of the file so that we start
downloading only if the file is created for that day .eg: say i have
downloaded a file on 23rd morning at 6AM.I have to download the same file
on 24th morning at 6AM.At this poing i would like to check whether it is a
new one or same as 23rd.
Thanks in advance..
Thanks&Regards
