I could try this on windows 7, but I thought the description of what the
apparent problem and the solution were, was pretty clear. This should be
"fixable" and seems to be a known problem with the windows socket stack. I
believe that this has been rewritten in 7, so I could use a vm to test it.
Is it that hard to make the changes, happyface man(I don't know what else to
call you , no damage intended), or are you afraid of other
consequences(problems arising from making the requested adjustments in the
registry or other ).
