Hello,

I am using curl to download relatively large files (~1 GB) over SCP. I have noticed that both the curl command line and libcurl embedded in my application transfer data much slower than the scp command line. Curl and libcurl get about 350 KB/sec, and scp gets about 600-800 KB/sec for the same file.

Does anybody know why this might be? Are there curl configuration options I could set to speed it up?
