Indeed, 7.18.2 doesn't work at all. It says it compiles but I can't use it to retrieve anything from anywhere and it fails a lot of tests because it can't connect anywhere (though the error messages say that it's a problem with the server starting, it really isn't).

I've uploaded the files of the output from a 'curl http://www.cbil.upenn.edu/downloads/DoTS/current_human/genomeAlignments/DTs/hg18/chr[1-5].gff.gz -O -v' command to the following URLs.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help. I'm going to try Scott's suggestion and try to get 7.18.0 to compile/work.
