i had a weird effect on images.

I scanned a page, saved the html and image. and one of them came out bad, i rescaned it and it came out ok. when it came out bad i opened it as a html file and it turned out there was a 404 and it was MS style. the site had nothing to do with MS, some of the HTML is

Go to Microsoft Product Support Services and perform a title search for the words HTTP and 404.

How do i find out if there is a 404 error? so i can attempt to reDL the file.
