Hello friends,

As we're about to remove the ca bundle from the curl release archives starting
soon, Guenter Knauf has worked on providing a perl script that gets the
mozilla bundle in a neat format and now he announced this PHP version...

Subject: [ANN] mk-ca-bundle.php available
Hi,
although the Perl script should already run fine on every platform, we have still a huge number of PHP cURL users on Win32, and some more on OS/2 and NetWare where the OS doesnt by default provide a ca-bundle.crt, and at least on Windows and OS/2 those folks might only have PHP, and no Perl....
Therefore (and because I like PHP...) I've now also translated the script to PHP:
http://www.gknw.net/php/phpscripts/mk-ca-bundle.php
if you want to view it with fancy PHP highlighting then use:
http://www.gknw.net/php/phpscripts/mk-ca-bundle.phps
I've tested it on Win32, NetWare and Linux; with lowest PHP version 4.3.11 (it _should_ though work with 4.3.0 from the functions I've used); output is identical to what the Perl script produces, and options are also nearly the same; additionally it can also produce bzipped and gzipped output files if the bz2 and zlib PHP extensions are available.
This script should now fill the last gap, and make our PHP cURL users happy too - specially those on Win32.
Daniel, can you perhaps forward this to the user list since I'm not subscribed there.
If you wanna host it self feel free to do so.
Guen.
