Need help for a curl running issue

Dear Sir / Madam:
I am a new curl user. I have installed curl-7.16.4-sol8-sparc in our
UNIX server; and successfully downloaded our internal web pages by
running curl. When I run "curl http://www.yahoo.com/", I got below
error:
curl: (6) Couldn't resolve host 'www.yahoo.com'
Could someone please advise me how to resolve this problem? I appreciate
your help!
