It looks like you need to get the "libcurl.so" RPM package from your
"download" page. Maybe it is under the name of "curl-7.16.4-2-devel". As
long as you get the libcurl.so that is compiled and linked from "
curl-7.16.4-2" source code (I guess it is the naming convention from
OpenSuSE distro) then put it into "/usr/lib", the problem may be solved.
Somehow one thing I am curious to ask, OpenSuSE is using its own software
repository to manage all packages. You need to use "Software Management(?)"
option in your YaST2 tool to install and/or remove the software in your
system. So I am wondering which the "download" page you mean?
