"killed" message error in multithreading example.

After running the multithread example
(http://curl.haxx.se/lxr/source/docs/examples/multithread.c),
I got the message "Killed" and program aborts. =/
As I compiled exactly the code provided in the example, I think it could be
something related
to the pthread version I'm using... Maybe an outdated one... Any
suggestions?
