Creating a directory on a WebDAV share

Hi,
I've been trying to copy a directory and its contents (a single text file for
test purposes) to a WebDAV share using curl. Frustratingly I can't seem to get
it to work if the directory doesn't already exist on the target. If anyone could
help me with this I'd be very grateful.
