Yes you have to install cURL and have to configure PHP that it can use it.

Btw. i would merely switch to unix servers, since those are more secure.

And beeing an internet hosting provider, i think security might be a
good point in catching customers.
And installing software under unix is mostly easier than getting it
working on windoze. :)
