Yes. Several ways, in fact.

There are over a hundred command-line options to curl, and what you want is
in there. Try this:
% curl --help | egrep -i 'trace|verbose'
--trace <file> Dump a network/debug trace to the given file
--trace-ascii <file> Like --trace but without the hex output
-v/--verbose Make the operation more talkative
