I'm looking for examples of shell scripts that do various kinds of file
manipulation using curl, everything from barebones basics to
full-fledged mirroring. For example retrieving and parsing a list of
files to retrieve, uploading the same files to various places, trying
different ways to get the same file, and so forth.

I'm specifically looking for bash scripts, not perl/PHP etc. Are there
any articles or sites that provide examples like this?
