I just want to point the curl-community to that discussion:

There seem to be some curl-related problems with a recent snapshot of glibc
(some network-stuff changed in glibc iirc); curl seems to get empty replies
and so on. I tried with curls-CVS snapshot yesterday, the problem is still
there.
I hope someone here can help the audioscrobbler community.
