I've just compiled the new curl 7.12.1 on a Linux 2.4 system with the
config options:

$ ./configure --with-ssl

Configuration, testing, and installation proceed without error. But
attempting to use the command line client results in this error message:

$ curl --version
curl: error while loading shared libraries: libcurl.so.3: cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory

Any clue what's going on here?
