I am trying to download a report from Amazon.com AWS.

The problem I am having is these reports can be very large. several meg
and oftem take time before the download even starts

Ive tried many variations on setting timeouts, etc

( this is using the curl php lib ).

What happens is when the request is made, it just hands for several minutes then
return SSL read error: 5 ( with the error number: 56 ).
and no data whatsoever is returned

You can download the report with the same URL in IE

Anyone have any ideas ?
