Summary: HTTPS posts through a proxy don't work.

Initial Comment:
I am using version 7.10.8 on AIX 4.3.
I compiled curl using gcc 3.3.2 and AIX ld.
I am using openssl 0.9.7b.

This command:
curl --data "foo" --proxy http://myproxy:80 --verbose
https://mytestserver

works fine with 7.10.7, but with 7.10.8 no Content-
Length header is sent, and neither is any data besides
the headers.
