Now I'm sorry ;) I cannot make it go wrong like this any more, I can only
assume it was a case of "my bad" late last Friday.

As I re-posted, I am getting an error trying to include a file from the
config - you suggest this is OK in your example above so I will assume it is
DOS being utterly useless again. I will go for forming everything myself and
using -d, I have a document explaining how everything is supposed to look
right down to line terminations etc.
