Johnny:

The windows version of curl will automatically look for a cacert file named "curl-ca-bundle.crt", either in the same directory as curl.exe, or in whatever your Current-Working-Directory is, or in any folder on your PATH.

So, if you rename "ca-bundle.crt" to "curl-ca-bundle.crt" and place it in the same directory as curl.exe, you won't need the "--cacert" argument.

Ahhh ... as simple as that. I pointed --cacert to the ca-bundle.crt
file, and bingo - it all works !!
