Close -- "rpm -e <package name>", eg "rpm -e curl" or "rpm -e curl-ssl". The RPMs are made to cleanly extract themselves from the system with no leftover cruft (in fact, I remove all curl RPMs prior to building new releases, to avoid any possible library linkage mishaps).
