Category: client module
Group: new feature request
Status: Open
Resolution: None
Priority: 5

Summary: Raw Internet requests

Initial Comment:
I know we can perform several operations within one
cURL command the problem being we can't do any
scripted checks between the operations.

I would prefer to be able to ask cURL to connect, then
ask it to say, download, so then I could check the file
without loosing the connection so that I could possibly
then ask it upload a file.

I think maybe this is not the concept of cURL. Maybe
a modifiered version of cURL could be made which can
only handle very raw, single requests to the internet.

I would use DOS FTP scripting but this does not
support passive mode.
