Summary: LDAP Query hangs after proper results

Initial Comment:
After successfully extracting and priting result of
LDAP query, curl seems to hang...any idea whats wrong?
% curl -
B "ldap://server:389/uid=1001,dc=company,dc=com"

Prints results alright...but seems to wait for input
or is hanging...

A couple of Ctrl-D's on my Solaris box bring me back
to shell.

Am happy that LDAP works with curl...but the minor
hitch is preventing me from from automating LDAP tasks
in a script.
