I'm so OK with this that I applied the patch and made a new pre-release
available with it included! ;-)

AC_TRY_COMPILE wins over AC_TRY_RUN any day.

In fact, the CURL_CHECK_WORKING_RESOLVER check can now be completely removed
from acinclude.m4.
