-L combined whit -C problem

OS: SuSE Linux 6.4 - Kernel 2.2.14, Win32, possible any other OS too
Version: 7.6.1
Problem: When using the -L option combined with -C -(or -C x), curl only sets
the Range for the Url which leads to the location, not for the location itself!
Problem can be clearly seen by simple using the -v switch
i am looking forward for your fix and thanks for curl, its a great useful tool.
