Oops... should've given a bit more on the problem. It just dies after 8K
transferred, finally resulting in some kind of timeout error. The server
log shows the authentication succeeds, but the transfer fails.

Daniel,

Win32 compiles appear to be broken on the current CVS, with the "ssize_t"
parameter being undefined. ("#define ssize_t size_t" in curl.h seems to
work, but not sure if that's an exact mapping.) Also, more importantly,
HTTPS uploads are now broken using either Stable 7.6 or CVS, from what I can
tell. I've only checked it with certificate-authenticated resources, but
will try to see if it affects all HTTPS PUT activities. This worked
previously using 7.5 on an identical configuration.

Thanks, as always.
