I have a problem compiling curl 7.4.

I get the following error(s):

memdebug.c:57: initializer element is not constant
make[2]: *** [memdebug.lo] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/rudolph/src/curl-7.4/lib'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/rudolph/src/curl-7.4'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2

What I did was the following:
configure
make

I use SuSE Linux 7.0

Can you help me?
