showing url encoded data with --form and -v

Hi,
Please help me with this: Curl version 6.3.1
does not diplay the url-encoded
data that it sends to the server with curl --form name=content -vv
Please tell me how to manage this. I have a site that gives an error
with curl but not by hand with telnet (by way of lynx)
and I can't see why yet.
It does show it with --data , though.
